I met Pete Rose at the Tampa Greyhound Track as a kid (my uncle was a chef there) and he was by himself. My brother and I asked for his autograph and he was more than happy to sign whatever we wanted, he even let us sit with him and pick dogs to bet on and talked baseball with me. That guy is alright in my book.
