I think its the parent more than the kid until they get to their teens. My daughter and I are sympatico pretty much all of the time, she's way too easy to deal with and has only become more so as time goes on. meh... i got a 22 y/o & a 15 y/o & a 10 y/o (all girls)
they do go through a stage where they consider you the biggest asshole in the world.... but they're nothing like the nightmare that i was.... but so far i've been luckyComment
