  • Fall 2007 Arbitron Ratings for Satellite Radio

I know it's old, but for anyone interested here's how the ratings looked back in 2007.

And as far as Bubba goes:
    Persons 12+
    Monday-Friday 3PM-7PM

    Howard 101
    AQH: 64,000
    AQH Rating: 0.03
    Cume: 276,000
    Cume Rating: 0.11

You may be asking yourself what the fuck this means. Fear not!

AQH is an abbreviation for Average Quarter-Hour Persons (AQH Persons), defined by Arbitron as the average number of persons listening to a particular station for at least five minutes during a 15-minute period.

Share is the percentage of those listening to radio in an Arbitron "market" (typically a metropolitan area) who are listening to a particular radio station.

Which here are the "rating" figures.

Cume is a measure of the total number of unique listeners over a period. Arbitron requires a listener to tune in for at least five minutes in their definition.

Interesting numbers in a presser from eFUEL.

Reach millions of loyal consumers on the most listened-to talk channels on SIRIUS XM Radio - Howard 100 and Howard 101!

      - 4.5 million SIRIUS listeners tune-in to Howard 100 in a typical week and 3.5 listeners tune-in to Howard 101

      - 22% of SIRIUS subscribers listened to Howard 100 in the past week and 16.3% listened to Howard 101

      - 3.9 million SIRIUS subscribers listen to Howard 100 in a typical week and 2.9 listen to Howard 101

This one is the most interesting to me. So there's supposedly 1 million Howard listeners that never flip on 101 throughout the week.
