This thread needs to come back. Roddy Piper vs. Greg Valentine, this is a cool match because it set up the first Starrcade and their dog collar match. This was Mid-Atlantic local TV, it was pre-TBS, Georgia Championship Wrestling was still on TBS at this point. This is really the match where Piper's ear got torn off, it's kayfabe that it happened at Starrcade because JCP/Mid-Atlantic wanted to promote VHS tape sales of that PPV.

Here's the opening to the show, nobody has subtitled this yet and it wasn't ever dubbed in English. This is the Italian OP in case you're wondering, but the animation is the same.
