    Hey..
    My Nortan Anti virus is up on this computer..
    I was filling out the form for a new subsciption,I noticed at chckout that it was for Windows xp/Pro/Vista..


    I got out of the deal cause I have windows 7...
    Does it matter?????

      Not a clue. Have you looked into Microsoft Essentials? While I loathe (take that Gene Lasker) MS, this product came highly recommended. And free it is.

        Getting Norton for any price is too much.

        I use either Free AVG or avast, which is also free for home use. They don't have the bells and whistles, but I have never been infected with anything, which is what matters.

              I recommend Webroot Spy Sweeper + antivirus (as advertised on Sirius ) I have used it for two years - no problems - works on vista and windows 7

                stay away from norton/mcaffee products - it's proven your computer runs 40% slower on average when running either companies anti virus

                  I just ran a complete scan with avast, it took about 4 minutes. Has resident protection as well as scheduled scans. Doesn't have a lot of user bells and whistles, but look at the ratings for it. One of the top always. Free AVG is also good. Ran that for yrs, never an issue.
