plus - for argument's sake - unless you are kirkman, you don't know that rick won't sacrifice that baby in a later episode

If they do anything I hope they do something like, putting the baby in a harness on a fishing pole, to lure zombies away from a target or something insane like that.

unless the baby dies of something natural - they're stuck with it.

If they actually did something like that it would make rick too big of a monster to cheer for and would fuck up the dynamic of the show.

Right now he's just crazy, but you still root for him. Make him a baby killer and it wouldn't make sense why a group would follow him.
