Anyway that's a hell of a cliffhanger but it seems like they're dragging this out longer than necessary.

They pretty much have to, with the start of this angle they quickly ripped through two major sections in the comics. At this rate they will be operating solely on their own material within a season or two.

I have liked this season a lot more than last, but I do have to say:
(Comic shit starting here regarding Governor)
[SPLR] the recreation of Michonne waiting for the governor just fell flat for me. She was assaulted with words and held for 20 minutes before, not raped, beaten, and tortured for days. I guess that is why they skipped over the fun stuff she does to him as well, but it still felt like Michonne's character didn't have all that much motivation to go up there and do that. I mean she knows he's a prick but why not gut him in battle? Unless there is some hidden gang rape scene we're going to hear about later it just seems really strange. I get they needed to move the Governor to the prison somehow, but there are many other ways to do it than that.[/SPLR]

I just hope the bits in the trailer for the next ep with Carl telling Rick maybe he should step down will lead to a bit more time with just Carl and Rick. They are by far my favorite characters in the comic and the show, and the time when it is just father and son vs the world are always really good. Ok Daryl can come too.
