but one thing thats been pissing me off is all the damn home runs being hit at yankee stadium, its just too many, i feel it cheapens the thrill of seeing one

A yankees fan...blah, I fart in ur general direction...lol, . Yeah, there has been a ton of them since they moved, and most of them have gone out to right field. But, as long as the yankees lose I don't care how it happens, kinda like the 7-0 ass whippin the yankees took from the Sox yesterday.

its a looong season and were barely a third of the way into it

Yeah surprisingly enough he's not doing very well this year so far but I hope he can turn it around at some point. Kinda like varietak(or how ever u spell his name) was awful last year but is doing great so far this yr. If nothing else the two teams usually make for great games, post or regular season, and I love watchin them. I just want the sox to come out on top, but good games nonetheless.

The rays are doing really shitty, which I didn't expect..but I love...lol Since they boucned my sox's last yr. Man, the AL east is THICK, I can't wait to see how it pans out this fall.

and yeah they were the cinderella team last year
they just dont have the same spark they did
and hopefully the blue jays stay in the rearview mirror

I don't see the blue jays posing much of a problem down the stretch, they started strong but I think they will fade into the distance. Sox vs. yanks on espn tonight I'm not gonna miss that for nothing, since i never get to watch their games cause I'm outta market. Argh!

Oh, and ur right the rays don't seem to really "have it" this year. But, who knows baseball is a weird game with a long ass season, so almost any thing can happen...Only thing I know for sure is, I'll be watchin..

yup exactly
and ill be watching too, im out of market aswell but it seems they show the yankees at least once a week. plus i get about half the games that they play that rays
and the mlb package is just way too expensive

The mlb package is way toooo expensive, since I cant watch an entire game with out turning the channel at least once. I love baseball but it's pretty damn boring for the most part. But, it's almost like a train wreck I now what's coming but I just can't turn away.

And I thought this thread was gonna amount to nothin till september/october, I guess I was wrong...

i feel the exact same way
i usually have it as background noise while im online or something
if i hear the announcer get excited ill look up
and i just dont have the time to "watch" every game
