.One of the biggest ways to hurt a fire team, squad or platoon is to maim, not kill. Maiming requires a leader put a hold on the objective, secure their immediate position & wait for people (like me) to evacuate the wounded. Ukrainian snipers have been spot on with this method.Comment

.Hearing the skipper at Snake Island spent hours arguing with Fleet HQ over strategic value + insignificant defending force. Did everything he could not to kill those boys. Was ultimately threatened with a tribunal if the island wasn't taken within the following three hours.Comment

.I'm told by UAF pilots that the "Ghost of Kyiv" is actually 4 pilots, all in the same squadron. The Russians consider any formation "finger-four" or bigger to be a threat, therefore deemed HVT's..so they've been taking turns flying CAP's around the city, no air-to-air kills..yetComment
