I think what is so criminal about Cryus having success with that song, is that there were some truly great country artists who flew under the radar during that same time period (Steve Earle, John Anderson, Billy Joe Shaver) because he ushered in the era of pop country. You ask someone about early 90's country now, what do they remember? Mother fucking Billy Ray Cyrus and his imitators that came after.

A long of way saying, that is a deserving pick for worst song ever.
