Moeraki Boulders
I didn't take this picture but I boosted the color curves to make it more neato for a wallpaper.
it's not the right res for HD netbook type sceens but many people still use square screens.
New Zealand is so beautiful

in New Zealand they have "Moeraki Boulders" on the shore. I'll get more pictures of them. I'm not sure what the history is about them, but I'll look it up.
re: windows icons
and as I hate a cluttered screen I keep my icons to a minimum. I love using portable programs so I can keep them all in their own menu. very tidy.
and I like the MAC thing at the bottom on the screen. Ubuntu has a similar feature from a developer who's name I forgot.

where the program icons sit?
you can get rainmeter for windows and there's a few dock addons for it - it's a nifty little program for desktop customization - it allows you to add realtime stuff like weather info etc - kinda like the mac widgets only this program runs all the time and acts as your desktop.
also: what do you mean portable programs? like on a stick?COD

I can place them on a flash drive, removable HD and internal HD. works great and doesn't clog up my windows system.
I've heard of the rain thing, but I want to keep windows as clean as possible. and the portable menu is just the ticket.
