wait - I'm the one who listens to more then three bands - all I've heard you mention is a7x, metallica and..... and.... ok your a two band pony!

I listened to a7x a LOT - I worked in a tattoo shop with a metal kid and all he played was a7z, killswitch, atreyu, lamb of god, as I lay dying... ETC ETC

I find that a7x just doesn't have the songs to hold my attention... I listened, I got sick of it and I moved on...

yet I still play slayer diabolus in musica - but could throw away the one they released after that....

I dunno - to each his own, unless it's a7x

I will bash all music equally don't get me wrong

and for every emo lesbian sister band (tegan and sara rule FTW) I post there's probably 15 I listened to and couldn't stand...

fact is - hip hop died fucking hard a few years back - metal and punk have been having a battle for supremecy, metal is probably winning since punk is pretty much metal now with slower drumming and louder screaming... *figure that one out*

so now these record labels are just whoring out the bands... it's corporate metal

also - folk and electro have been HUGE in the off radio music scenes... you wouldn't know unless you follow new releases and indie music as most never makes it to radio, but there's still an awful lot of people making it
