CANTON — Four downtown blocks have been cordoned off since 10 a.m. as two bomb-detection dogs from the Canton Police Department search the Renkert building following a bomb threat.

Capt. Bruce Lawver, who heads the department’s Detective Bureau, said the 911 center received two calls reporting a bomb in the building at 306 Market Ave. N shortly after 10 a.m.
