Yeah, I heard that too Butler, you're prolly right. I guess FBS would be more of a supposed non-profit as opposed to a charity, but they are scandalous as heel!!
I'm not one to bitch about the show being too "local" because I don't think it's much worse than prior to FM, but opening the show with Florida sports teams scores is a bit much. And FM listeners are fickle and outside of that area probably don't want to hear it.

Well he does it for all the affiliate sites, not just FL, like the Reds, Nationals. Either way agree with you. Anyone that is into their team pretty much already knows what they did or will look and find out and usually could care less about others.

Exactly, no reason to try and be local to those areas, just do what the show does naturally.
People have been pissing and moaning about the show being too local since he started on Sirius in '06. It's a stigma they have to work past. I have nothing to base it on, but I'm pretty sure he'd do better in Vegas than Miami. The strippers, prostitutes, and gambling addicts need a show to listen to.
I may be wrong, but when he was just on Sirius, I don't really remember him talking too much about Fl stuff. Did he and I just for get?
I think talkin about too much local stuff is hurting in other stations wanting him and his ratings in Ohio and Virginia. Just IMO!!
Not as much, although there was plenty of fucked up stories out of Florida that he covered, same as now, and that was too "local" or "Southern" for some.
Now they're seeing what "local radio" is truly like.
