Right out of the gates Bubba is "fat and sassy". He claims the bone let him go purely from a budget standpoint, saying "we cost too much" and were "victims of our success" He's also already alluding to the fact that he's ready to go head to head with the bone. Stay tuned

People just need to lie to the call screener. Sure, he can dump the call, but when he realizes everyone on hold is a Bubba fan it's going to get their goat. Then if Manson gets off his ass and starts doing some good Ned songs about Calta, he'll have to respond sooner or later.
