Let's take a look at this not from a hater or a fan standpoint, but from an objective one if you wouldn't mind. Do you really think if Ober had such an open and shut case as this one appears to be do you think he would no prosecute it purely to fuck over Bubba on a personal vendetta? There's gotta be more to it than that. If he say's he's not confident he could get a conviction, why do you think that is?

That's the million dollar question. There isn't another lawyer in America that would pass on this. That detective did a great job of fact finding...for nothing. I'm surprised that he hasn't been fired for wasting all of that tax payer money.

Why would he push to trial Bubba for a hunter killing a hog? He should have known he didn't have a chance in hell of winning that case. Ober is a fuckin idiot, and not just because of the Bubba factor. He is corrupt as fuck and brings or drops cases for personal reasons.

The word on the street is that his office was under tremendous pressure from a bunch of animal rights groups to prosecute. Not saying it's right, but some of those groups are powerful and have the right connections.
