So in other words - you should call bubba's show - let his call screener fuck up and put you on air (cause you know they will) and then ask management how come bubba just put you on air.

The sushi line was good. I would've said something along the lines of that it's a relief that that's what was the source of the fishy smell in the house, but that's a bit over the top I guess.

And to be the devil's advocate here, in an interview like that I'd imagine it's easy to get caught up in the moment between trying to hang and get a good chemistry going and responding to what is said, and trying to think of where to steer the conversation to next. It makes it easy to miss the obvious I guess.
