They didn't see Casey at all during that time, except like once, and her excuse was she was asleep at the imaginary nannies!

But, they should have called the cops after like a week or so of her lies. They could have then at least confronted Casey to find out. The dad must have been a shitty cop to believe his daughters stories and lies.
