You know what I'm going to miss the most about the demise of the Hogan/Bubba Bromance? Hootie calling in and telling old wrestling stories.

I'm not saying it's right, but I instantly dislike anyone in Tapout/Affliction gear.

WWE seems to love mindfucking their talent. They get away with it for now being the "big dogs" but that shit won't fly forever. Burying new champions so they don't get "cocky", flying guys out wasting their time having them jump through hoops, even maybe getting on tv, only to be ignored or let go. Talented young guys wasting their best years on B shows if they are lucky, ignored for bland stale characters just because of t-shirt sales.
But hey, fuck em, they are wrestlers, right? |

Basically the short version is he worked indies for awhile, was brought up to wwe for some minor shit, told he's gonna get a job, strung along, on prompting developed the entire Jinder Mahal gimmick, then was let go, the gimmick given to the guy who currently uses it in WWE.

Wow - that sucks for Al Qaeda. He was basically a walking drawing board to test a character out. I've always been more interested in the internal workings of the wrestling business than the actual wrestling itself. Al Qaeda's story is one example of why.
