I don't think anyone here is a Ludlow. You guys are more critical of the show than I am, but i doubt that anyone here would go to the lengths this Ludlow has. Hey, I went to Pittsburgh (OK 30 miles outside Pittsburgh) to see BubbaPalooza, and would again, and I bought a couple shirts, but to infiltrate the Radio Shows family? That does seem weird. I once was a fan of a Radio show in the 90's, and I'd call the guy 2 -3 times a week on the air. He goes on the air one day and says he bought DirecTv units at WalMart in Buffalo. I calls him up and offer to install his for free. We set this up, I install for free, and charge him 1/2 price for the cheater card. He's in love with me now. I install his 3 kids systems for full pop. When there is a problem, he'd call me. I got pictires with the guy, but shortly after, I almost felt creepy about that.

He HAS gone after his sponsors. He's gone after guests, trying to dissuade those guests from coming on the show. If this is a work, then I must be the biggest sucker around, cause I'm buying it. I'm not new to the planet, or to radio, so I'm going with "it's a shoot" I don't think it's fair to say that he thinks he's John Lennon, the point was the same type of personality was responsible for Lennons death. Maybe I'm overreacting, but if you've ever had someone effectively fuck with your life, your kids, your family, like I have, you might see it different.

Don't read too much into it. Since when in the past few years has any of the three radio companies been timely about anything?

We need our overworked bookie to put up a bet. It'll need several options though since he can cut deals with multiple companies. I'll chat with him about that one and the weight one. Not sure when to cut the weight one off.

Say he were to leave Cox, Beasley and LM Communications could still keep their syndication deals with Bubba since I believe they go through him. Honestly, Bubba would be better off with Clear Channel at this point, but who knows. It was all great at Cox at the beginning and things deteriorated there. And they deteriorated at Clear Channel prior.

Bubba wants billboards. They not only pay for them, they own the goddamn billboards. A larger company definitely seems like the better place to be at face value. And like you said, it has other, more personal advantages for Bubba.

Yeah but he will still have to get ratings outside of Tampa! It's not like Cox didn't try in other markets. Though they could have given him some more advertising, he still didn't get much ratings outside of Tampa/Ft Meyers.

How many of those stations are still around? Only Rock 104.5 and The Eagle in Dayton I believe. If I missed one someone remind me.
