That's the whole deal...he has all that, and now they won't pay. And like I said...now it just ends up having to pay for a fuckin atty which will end up costing all of if not more than he can get to cover his expenses he's already had to pay. It was only like $15G and USAA said they would pay like $3G. Total bullshit man.

That sucks, I'd have to look at the whole deal to get a full understanding, hell I had to get a lawyer to take my own company I work for almost to court just to get my wife's medical bills paid, so I do understand what your friend is going through.

Florida makes it far too easy to drive around without it. Other states tie the Vin of your car to your insurance so you can't register your car without it and if you cancel and do not get new insurance your car registration is no longer valid. I think Massachusetts even comes and takes your plates if you don't have insurance. It's estimated that 40% of drivers in Florida are either under insured or not insured at all. My scumbag brother has been driving for at least 10 years without insurance and nothing has ever happened to him.

My brother goes to these small agencies that have either zero down or super low down payment policies. He goes to the dmv with his new insurance proof, gets his pos car registered and never pays for the policy. Now that company is supposed to report that to the state but they never do because it's too expensive for them. It's total bullshit, but he doesn't have jack shit, so good luck suing him if he hits you.
