Jay thinks that being a dick is funny. He's wrong. He can't stand it that he got his ass handed to him at every turn on radio. He is a bitter man. He couldn't even deal with SHULI, of all people, as you noted. On top of that, he's accepted the bread crumbs that Sirius offered him, accepted the termination of his former producer to "save money", etc.

Bubba may be clinging to life personally and professionally, but at least he's a fucking man. Jay is a whiny, bitter pussy.
