I'm with this guy. If I had a kid (a huge stretch already) that was remotely athletic (an even bigger stretch) that became passionate about football or some other sport (this is stretching way too far) I'd be hard pressed to say "no."

My oldest daughter is really good at soccer and we have to sign concussion awareness forms every season. Luckily she doesn't head the ball much yet, but as she progresses that is something we have to be mindful of believe it or not. People like to say soccer is a pussy sport, but I've seen some kids get hurt pretty bad out there.
