Personally I see no reson for this crap to be burnt to a DVD. "DVD"

If you just wanted it to jack off to why burn it to a DVD just put it on a flash drive and hide it.

Well according to Dave Rice, that is how this system was. Camera went direct to a DVD recorder, not part of the security system.
