Only problem I have with him is that while his programs to "not be nice" to inmates sound good in theory, so many people get thrown in jail for bullshit reasons and have to be treated WORSE than they usually would in jail because the guy has a hard on for being "tough".

edit: Not that it is directly his fault or anything.

Little late to get mad about your kid getting beat on by the school, you know, after you okay'd it.

Fish, there are a lot of people who spend more than a night in jail on bullshit like marijuana or just shooting their dog on accident and hitting their wife. Hey wait...

Yeah Dan, it's a tough argument. It definitely is a deterrent to get caught at something. Over the years I've gotten accustomed to leaving the bowl at home and not driving after drinkin'. Fuckin' sucks but better than a month in the pokey. I'm more afraid of jail because you can't smoke there anymore.

I play 3 hours of video games a day

and I don't have any issues

stop using THAT as an excuse as to why kids are having troubles
