i only played a little of the first bioshock. i'm hesitant to go back and play games like that now since they might come out with an HD/upgraded version

I really liked Infinite. Though I can see why people were disappointed given the fact that it went through so many iterations and that E3 demo was fucking stunning but hardly representative of the finished product.

But I think the first one has aged better. And it still looks pretty good for its time. You can get it for PS3 really cheap now too. It came out in 2007 so they're probably not making a remastered version. Unless they wanted to redo the original assets from scratch.
