I've never understood that sentiment. Unless you're sitting right behind home plate in the stadium, you can actually see the action on the field better on television.

I was on the air at KTRS the year they got the rights to the Cards. We had free reign really to go anywhere and do anything we wanted in the stadium during games. I went about three times and I was bored to tears. I think having a hot dog, watching the game in the open air, and talking to people is quite enjoyable a few times a year. I can't STAND watching it on TV. It takes so FUCKING long to get anything going on.
