Shit, I only have 1 unit and mine gets up to almost $300. Have an old system and that fuckin thing will just run and run. Should get a new one, but putting in a well next week..$2500 there, so it will have to wait.

Yeah, mine are about 8-10 years old, so I'm okay for a while, fingers crossed of course. I might be putting in new windows this time next year, hopefully that might help lower the bill like it did at my old house.

Why are you getting a well? Tired of county water? How does it work? Once the well is dug, is the water free at that point?

I need to look into that too once me house is paid off in a couple yrs. I got an estimate from one of those call around fucks...like $18G. Fuck that. I mean I have a lot of window, but still.

I heard a deal on the radio the other day $265 per window (plus installation) for most standard sizes. I have 24 windows so that's $6360, add a couple grand for installation and I'm under 9 large and that for double pane/double hung I believe...

At my old house I had 14 windows and it was was barely 2500 all in back in 2010. Add in that I scrapped the old aluminum windows, plus the TECO rebate and the govt. energy deal on your taxes and I damn near broke even at the end of the day.

Nice..when you remember the name of the place let me know. This place wanted like $7G just for my FR slider windows. Granted they are like 18 ft total between the 2...still. Fuck that!

Window World was the ad for $265 I heard on the radio.

I went with West Coast Windows out of Temple Terrace back in 2010 and will be calling them when the time comes again.

Also give Weathertite windows a call and tell em Bubba sent ya.

I do know that sliders and French doors are expensive to replace. I have three sets of French doors that lead out to my back patio, that's gonna hurt when its time to replace those.

I know a couple people that went with Weathertite a few yrs ago, before he was on Bubba, they don't listen anyhow. They said it was a good deal then. I would call them based on what they said. This will be a couple yrs out, so we'll see who's still in business then.
