Ledge is a good host his problem is his time slot and the content of his show is predictable, so it's going to cater to some and not others. Also he generally has other voices who are generally echoing him, there is a need for a bigger conflict there than "I agree with you but I differ in how this minor detail is explained".
Shannon has a prime time slot and you aren't sure what he's going to cover or say, but you know Rick and Colin are going to fight about something and find gold somewhere.
