Branson begins by saying, "We had a very, very heavy," then makes nonsensical sounds before the station cuts her off. While some sites were mocking her, the Telegraphsuspected that she may have suffered a stroke and was taken to the hospital.
A statement posted on her station's website today says that's not what happened: "Serene Branson was examined by paramedics on scene immediately after her broadcast. Her vital signs were normal. She was not hospitalized. As a precautionary measure, a colleague gave her a ride home and she says that she is feeling fine this morning."
Here's a strange story you didn't see unless you live in L.A. and happened to be watching local CBS 2 television station last night before the Grammys.
