Anyone suggest Bubba and Hogan settled for the 5G, because Bubba might be paying for Hogan's legal fees? Bubba can't testify because if that was to come out, that would look like Hogan ultimately knew he was being recorded.

Interesting theory Lerch, my only question is this; do you think Bubba really has that kind of money? This case is estimated to be in the millions for both sides and I just can't see Bubba coming coming off that kind of cash, even if he had it.

The judge will also look at a motion from Bubba the Love Sponge to quash his subpoena for trial. The judge will look at the motion during lunch Monday.

The defense did send out a motion to the subpoena:

"In fact, if Clem’s eleventh-hour assertion of privilege were to render him completely unavailable to testify at trial, this action must be dismissed because Defendants will be deprived of evidence that is necessary to establish certain facts and is of central importance to their defenses."

I think we underestimate his finances. He can probably get a decent loan based on his property, future earnings, and the people he knows.
