A jet belonging to Ernest Angley Ministries “landed hard” at the Akron-Canton Airport Tuesday afternoon.

Kristie Van Auken, spokeswoman for the airport, said the plane and the tire debris were quickly removed from the runway. Commercial flights were not interrupted by the incident that happened around noon.

Several loud noises were heard when the plane landed. Van Auken said it appears “multiple tires” on the aircraft blew out during the landing. The plane has 18 tires.
