I was busy looking for details about the DOOM beta and saw some dipshit complain about the "CoDification" of the series despite not having played it and it looking nothing like CoD.

The only thing that looks like it could get old in that new DOOM is the finisher kills, if you *have* to do that to get health or something I could see it getting real old. If it is just an added thing you can do once in awhile it will be fine. Will be interesting to see what kind of story if any shows up in the new game.

As far as I understand, it's not mandatory and there's still medpacks and such like days of old. It's like an emergency risky move in order to get health.

And it's supposed to be very fast too. But I can see people spamming it so that xXxCacoKiller420MLGxXx can rule the leaderboards.
