Here's the thing with this coach - in PRINCIPLE if what he said did not happen to involve race - it's a non issue

if you are rich and an owner of an NBA team - would you want your GF taking pictures with convicts or say shady mobsters?

The fact that it's race based - ok that part is wrong. But I kinda understand part of what he was saying. There is an expectation of appearance, right or wrong.
