If there was a theoretical "civil war" not only would the civilian population be torn in half in terms of loyalties, but so would the military and government leadership. Basically, shit would be fucked. In the most simple of terms.

The side with more firepower would have a distinct advantage though.

Well I know this..prolly 75% or more of the military is conservative to middle in nature!
