And how much did Thor: The Dark World make? That's around what I'm expecting it to do.

Also, I'm a Star Wars fan and am sick of everyone calling every sci-fi/fantasy movie a Star Wars rip off. Star Wars was pretty much a love letter to sci-fi serials and Kurosawa films that blew up and took a life of its own much to everyone's surprise. The first film wasn't all that original and went through a shitton of drafts before resembling something fresh.

I get more of a Firefly vibe from GOTG if anything.

Maybe closer to the original Thor opening weekend. But the Marvel films have a diehard fanbase now. I mean they're gonna put out an Antman film for fuck's sake.

And yet Daredevil is gonna get the fucking Smallville treatment by being on shitty ass Fox. Being a Daredevil fan is suffering. At least comic wise DD is pretty consistent. Still need to catch up on Waid's run.
