I think the way they do it now is actually the best way they could've gone about doing things, they should've just done that from the beginning, and they bungled it at the beginning by fucking up their website so bad they had to revert to an older version, add months to the plans of current subs, then piss off customers again by making the content free within months, well, at least officially, and have Spice and Bubba be complete assholes about it. Any hope they had for attracting serious investors was potentially screwed up by their actions.

And they have continued to bungle it by not growing in any significant fashion. Shannon has been their saving grace and most popular addition and soon he won't even be exclusive. But it might end up helping them if Shannon's popularity grows. They just need to show a sign of life.

Pretty weird in Colo..most of the state is easy laid back, but Denver is such an uptight stick in the mud place. Was that way when I was in the Springs back in the 80's. Not that I paid attention much, but a few things brought it up then.

Totally agree I think if they would have announced the last week on Sirius when they did all the rogue bits that they were gonna be totally free and you could play and DL the show right from the btls main page it would have perhaps done better.

From Bubba's perspective, signing with IO made sense. Having that built in infrastructure was convenient for the BRN which is perpetually behind the curve technology wise. And as a selling point, selling a service with music attached to it and a brand that already had carved a niche out for itself seems more attractive than just telling people to sign up to Bubba Raw or whatever. But with that came the baggage of it being a publicly traded company with stockholders, a board of directors, and a bunch of debt from a company that has never made a profit. And Bubba being not all that tech savvy probably had a bunch of smoke blown up his ass from people and a lot of promises made that were never followed through on. Not that Bubba doesn't have some responsibility for that, but I feel there may have been some bamboozling involved.

Where's his friends Chase and Michaels? Neither of those guys have done anything substantial for the company except for Randy getting almost worthless stock for being a "consultant."

And it's funny to hear Spice speak about his IO experience now. As much as I appreciate that he's trying to move on, I'd love to hear him spill the beans.
