of that 10 total fridays off we will be getting only about 30 live sirius shows. he got what he wanted out of us and couldn't care about the rest of it. we are money to him no more no less.

If you confront Bubba in what he deems to be a dickish manner, that's pretty much what you should expect from him.

Notice the callers that handle him with kid gloves tend to last longer and not get shouted down. And like Howard, he really doesn't take kindly to people giving him shit about vacation.

The FM ratings wouldn't have much to do with the satellite audience.

But compare what the show sounded like in 2008 on FM to the current FM product. It was edgy (for FM) and fun. Much better than the Sirius shows from that year. Now it's way too political and current events focused for a lot of people.

My guess is because they're probably paying him so little and they don't really care what's on as long as it fills the time slot.
