Like Spice is saying, Taker is the locker room leader. A lot of people resented Lesnar because they felt he got a big head too quick. He also stunk up Madison Square Garden in his and Goldberg's last night in the company at Wrestlemania XX.

And he left WWE on bad terms wanting to pursue an NFL career, and he sued Vince to get out of his non compete clause to go to the UFC.

This. Either that or Taker is being a tool.

I don't think Lesnar took any part in planning this. He hasn't been very complementary of wrestling after he got out.

I was there when the arena booed the shit out of Goldberg and Lesnar. Holy shit, that was the most hostile crowd ever.
