Tuddle I'm not gonna agree on DC failing, but they'll have to be a lot more careful.

As a DC fan I'm encouraged by a few things in BVS like Affleck's involvement, Chris Terrio penning the script, and David Goyer having less story input. The latter is good with the right people, but several statements he's made tell me he should stick to the super grounded, street level stuff and I hope 100 Bullets on TV takes off. But for a full blown cinematic universe I don't think he has the right direction in mind.

The MCU was lightning in a bottle for Marvel. The DC Universe is different and if they don't play to its unique nature and strengths and just try to do an MCU lite it'll fall apart.

Plus, Gotham surprised the hell out of me and I need to catch up on a few episodes still. Even Butler likes it and he hates everything.

I don't usually like superhero stuff on TV and haven't seen Flash and Arrow yet but this has promise. I still think not linking the TV and movie universes might not be the right call but I haven't seen Agents of Shield so I don't know how well that works.
