Funny thing is they tried to stick me in some math enrichment program in elementary school. Now what kid at that age wants to do more math?

Log2(x)+log2 (x-4) = log2(x+24)

log2(x^2-4x)=log2(x+24)
2 2
(x^2-4x)=(x+24)
x^2-5x-24=0
(x-8)(x+3)=0
x=8 x=-3

But you cant have a negative in a log so the only answer is 8
