What I don't get is why people don't grasp the concept of it having the same appeal of TV/movies/comics/games/etc. Except with a live action appeal.

Also martial arts is a sport and they do predetermined routines if not competing with another person.

It's a pointless conversation. People that are being obtuse about the matter can't be made to understand. I don't give a shit about NASCAR but I get what people like about it, though I don't find the same appeal in it.
