This is why radio ratings are crap. Things don't fluctuate that wildly. Radio listeners are creatures of habit. I asked people why they listened to Free Beer and Hot Wings instead of following Stern when he left if they "miss" him and they were either too fucking stupid to figure out Sirius, or they just stuck with the same station out of habit and fucking laziness. People listening to Bubba one month on FM aren't going to tune out completely next month, and come back the month after.
