I remember back when Lollapalooza was supposed to return as a touring festival they ended up canceling the show in Syracuse or wherever. That relaunch didn't go too well. Hell Ozzfest doesn't do it anymore.

the last one up here was with Nine Inch Nails and honestly - it sucked... they held it at an Amusement Park with no capacity... total clusterfuck.

The first palooza I went to was Cypress Hill/ Sonic Youth / Hole / Beck / Bosstones / Elastica and a few more... it WAS PURE WIN

Poor planning can totally sink a concert like that even if the acts are good. Ask the Woodstock 99 people. Too bad there was no Woodstock '09.
