Not so much hate on my part as a wish something could shake him out of his apathy. That way he could produce the kind of show we know he's capable of putting on. Bubba's the type of guy to check out when things don't go his way. He doesn't realize what a difference a little more effort and/or enthusiasm on his part would make.

But he doesn't seem to care as long as he's got his cluster of fans that will stick with him no matter what. Too bad that it seems like it hasn't fully sunken in that the number of those fans shrinks every year. Sure more FM listeners always come and go, but more and more of those hardcore listeners he claims to love, that will actually give him shit from time to time but still stick around, are just giving up on the show.

This isn't "hate" but Bubba will never understand the difference. You want more from the guy and he gets pissed and calls you selfish instead of being flattered people want to hear more from him. And he's surrounded himself with people that won't dare question him or call him out on things for fear of their jobs. Those that would have left.

Here's hoping the trial fires him up. When he talks about it now I see the fire he had in 2008. That's one thing that shows me he still has it in him. There's those of us that will stick around regardless. All I ask is that he not try so hard to chase us off if we dare question his methods.
