Oh and when bubba says geithner worked for aig or any other big bank is wrong. He worked for the treasury under Clinton and some of bush and then was appointed new york fed reserve president. He's basically been a public servant all his life.

Yeah, but what really does a regional/state Fed actually do when it comes to making policy? Not much is my guess. Geithner is just a shady unqualified POS IMO. He just does shit willy nilly.

Well Paulson wasn't one that got an appointment, but if you can blame tarp on anyone, it's him. I don't know what would have happened if the banks failed. But I can say that I may be more open to that idea now that we know the results of bailing them out.
Im pissed that there was no increased regulation on the banks, and now that the 2010 elections happened we will never see the needed regulations in place.
