Damn Cpt, I had to renew my homeowners insurance last month. They just sent me a free 1 year Sams membership! Not bad.

Good deal. I didn't get shit at my renewal. I'm just glad I'm not stuck with Citizens at this point.

My agent has always found a way to keep me off that shit, for half of what it would cost through that crimimnal enterprise.

Yeah, now that I have a nicer, newer house companies are bending over backwards to give me a quote, with my old house it was either some company I never heard of or Citizens. I went with no name insurance company.

Like 4 yrs ago, my insurance was due to go up like double. My agent, who is independent called me and told me a few weeks before. Said don't worry, I will find sumthin. Ended up saving a couple hundred a year, with better coverage.

My saving grace was having a brand new roof on the new house that included a wind mitigation report. Having that report literally cut my rate in half.
