Yeah - shit ain't gonna be good. I'm with them on needing a party that truly combines liberal views on lifestyle and conservative views on fiscal responsibility. I guess Libertarianism is the closest, but I still haven't lined up with them.

Zactly!! And we need one with believable people at the helm that can get people. The Libertarians are so out of touch for the most part, with so many different agenda's, they aren't taken seriously. So people don't join them.

What sucks is that the two party system has such a stranglehold on the country and a viable third party has such obstacles in their way that no one has been able to organize one that can gain seats. And now is as good of a time as any with all the people sick of the two parties' shit.

basically - in conclusion,

I don't have any right to tell you - your american it's different - I don't impose my complete ban on anyone - but I would vote for one here.

the ONE statistic that does change with guns being illegal - is accidental shootings

crime rates be damned - I don't want anyone I know to lose a loved one to an accidental shooting when there was no need for the gun to be in the household to begin with (cause if no one has guns there's no need for you to have one for pretection)

and I have nothing against weapons - like bows, arrows, crossbows, throwing knives etc

self defense in your home is your right. - but wouldn't you feel more secure knowing that the attacker can't have a gun cause there are none. - YOUR survival odds go up a lot in a hand to hand situation no matter what
