So does anyone have the station lineup? I have never listened to Cowhead, is he any good? I know Nick and Artie will be on at night and that's cool, they have a good show. TYIA

10-12 Drew Garabo
12-3 Billy Madison

I've liked what I heard of Cowhead in the past. I'm probably the only one here that has though.

One obvious question is why can't Spice do both shows? Does he have that much hate in his heart for Bubba and crew?

Here's the business of it all. I don't think Spice would have bailed if Bubba was paying him enough money. I imagine doing 6+ hours of radio a day would get old real quick. Now, have someone come to the table and offer me more money to do less work? That's the dream. Even only at 3 hours a day, Spice must have got a nice raise from Cox to leave Bubba.

They could have just had Spice work out of the BRN under Bubba's banner otherwise. Spice got a better gig offered to him and he took it.

Terrestrial Radio is dying, people. I don't know why you'd abandon the Internet for Terrestrial Radio again.. unless BIG BUCKS we're involved.

He'd be on 6-12:30 and then on 8-10 at night along with the commute/prep for both shows. That would be insane. He's probably enjoying spending more time with Tasha and her kid.

Bubba did say he didn't know if he could keep paying Spice what he was making.

I hope Spice gets a good run out of his night time FM talk show, but it's a shitty time to attempt and FM talk format after KLSX and Free FM got canned. Spice is lucky he earned so much good will with Bubba and the audience and has a back up plan, most radio people aren't so lucky.

Guy/Hot/Entertainment oriented FM Talk seems to be making a comeback in Florida. FM Talk with the traditional talk formats all over the place are starting to trend at 'the new thing to do' instead of leaving everything over on the AM dial.
