The Bucs stepped up to pay to replace the equipment Bubba was going to, and the youth football people jobbed him out clean in the middle. Now he's pissed.

OK. As soon as the story broke Bubba jumped on it and said he'd replace the stuff? After the dust settled the Bucs came along and scratched a check to replace the gear? Now the teams are not acknowledging the fact that Bubba wanted to help and they didn't want his possible additional assistance? Is that about right? Are the parents and officials of these youth teams upset because they got hooked up by uninterested millionaires? I don't understand.

The iggy is that the equipment was insured, and the admins of both victims want cash to subsidize enrollment cost so they can recruit more kids. Bucks are giving cash, bubba is giving gear.

I think that right there is the key. Its all about the money. Why take equip when you can get cash

So they are gonna get the equip replaced by insurance and still get cash from the Bucs? Sounds really fishy.
